Faisal has been working at st Thomas More despite grappling with reading and writing.

Faisal had completely illegible handwriting, reading issues

The teacher had completely illegible handwriting, reading issues and difficulty in understanding written tests. This was after he was discovered by the school’s head Mark Rowland and immediately put into suspension.

Teacher Sues the School on Wrongful Dismissal

He was teaching business studies in the A-level and GCSE classes. It is believed he has been living with dyspraxia, a disorder that interferes with the body’s co-ordination and movement during development. The school had not been notified of his disorder on employment.

He sued the school on two grounds – dismissed wrongly and discriminated for being disabled. He has however lost both of his tribunal case and the appeal.
