The 2019/2020 academic year admissions report was issued at the 2019 KUCCPS Stakeholders meeting.

Out of the 90,755 KCSE candidates who scored C+ (plus) grade and above in the 2018 examinations, 89,486 secured a place in the universities for the degree course. Only a small number did not complete the KUCCPS online application.

Unlike other previous years, this year KUCCPS will initiate communication with the placed students. They will communicate via the short message service SMS texts to the phone numbers the students used during the online application process.

The students placed into various courses will be informed on their course and the university/Institute admitted. This communication will be at no extra charge.

Alternatively, the students can confirm with KUCCPS through the online portal on the whereabouts of their course and university/Institute placed.

The Ministry of education has stated that for the studends who may wish to transfer to other institutions/courses they will be allowed to do so.  The Placement Service will open the online system for interinstitution transfer applications  from 1st to 31st May, 2019 .
